The bill (Reg. No. 2801) aimed at strengthening control over state spending, reducing the risks of corruption and abuse in public procurement. In particular, it presupposes seducement of cases that do not fall under this law.
The Committee, in particular, noted that according to the meaning of the relevant provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Parliament is empowered to make laws for the regulation and procurement of goods, works and services for public funds.
Therefore, the Committee believes that it would be logical to make decisions about draft law to obtain appropriate expert advice of the government.
